Dany Salik, MD, FEBO has made his studies at the University of Brussels where he obtained his doctorate in medicine with the highest distinction. After a specialized training in ophthalmology at Brussels University Hospitals, he directed his training towards refractive surgery, corneal surgery and cataracts.
Dr. Salik obtained a university degree in refractive and cataract surgery in France and acquired advanced experience in these fields following additional training in the service of Dr Damien Gatinel at the Rothschild Foundation, Paris. Dr. Salik is now responsible for consultations for refractive surgery and corneal surgery in the Brussels university hospitals at CHU Saint-Pierre and CHU Brugmann. Dr. Salik is also responsible for the surgical training of ophthalmologists in training. He is also now responsible for anterior segment surgery (cataract and cornea) in one of the most modern hospital in Europe, CHIREC Delta.
Dr. Salik daily practices cataract surgery, laser vision correction, refractive lens exchange, ICLs,.. but also corneal grafts and UV-CXL.
