James Landreneau, MD grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and has roots in Louisiana and Missouri. After completing his undergraduate education in Chemical Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh, he went to New Orleans, Louisiana to obtain his medical degree at Louisiana State University (LSU). Born in Columbia, MO – aka “COMO” – James returned to complete his residency training at the University of Missouri. He completed a 1-year fellowship in Cornea, External Disease, and Refractive surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) under the mentorship of Dr. Karolinne Rocha and Dr. Karen Fernandez.
James is a diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and a subspecialist in Cataract, Cornea & Refractive Surgery.
In his free time, James spends time fishing, golfing with the goal of hitting a crisp 100, and spending time with his daughter Rachel and wife Sarah.
