Anton van Heerden, FRANZCO, originally from South Africa, has lived in Australia for 14 years. He is dedicated to providing professional, state-of-the-art eye care service to my patients in the city of Melbourne and the surrounding communities, by offering a full range of refractive surgery services.

Dr van Heerden received his MBCHB from Stellenbosch University in 1998 and furthered obtained his MRCOphath in London in 2003. He became an FCOphth South Africa in 2008, and a FRANZCO of Australia in 2009.
in 2013, Dr van Heerden achieved the title Diploma Cataract and Refractive Surgery from Sydney University.
In his spare time, Dr van Heerden is a keen sportsman who enjoys extreme sports such as kite surfing and mountain biking. He and his wife, a Paediatrician, enjoy raising their 15-year-old twins.
