He earned his medical degree with a full-tuition scholarship from the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in El Paso. He completed his internship at Georgetown University Hospital/Washington Hospital Center and served as Chief Resident during his ophthalmology residency at The George Washington University. Dr. Bhat pursued specialized fellowship training in Cornea, External Disease, and Refractive Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center under world-renowned mentors. He is board-certified in Ophthalmology and licensed to practice in Texas.
