Jason M. Feuerman, MD is a board-certified ophthalmologist with specialized fellowship training in cornea, cataract, and refractive surgery. His expertise includes corneal transplantation, cataract surgery, and vision correction using lasers and the latest types of intraocular lenses. He is also available for routine eye examinations and evaluation of other general eye conditions.
He was born and raised outside Cleveland, Ohio and completed his undergraduate degree in Biology at Emory University, followed by medical school at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
His ophthalmology residency was at the prestigious Cullen Eye Institute at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, where he received the Stephen N. Schindler Award, recognizing the resident who most embodies high ethical and humane standards.
Following residency, he completed further subspecialty fellowship training in cornea and refractive surgery at the renowned John A. Moran Eye Center at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, where he gained extensive experience in the most advanced cornea and refractive surgery techniques including penetrating keratoplasty (PK), lamellar (partial thickness) corneal transplantation (DALK, DSAEK, and DMEK), laser in-situ keratomileusis (LASIK), and photorefractive keratectomy (PRK).
Dr. Feuerman values the enormous trust his patients put in him to take care of their eyes and recognizes the importance of thorough communication regarding their medical and surgical care. He strives to treat every patient as if they were his own family member.
He enjoys spending his free time running and hiking with his wife Lindsay, an Austin native. He also enjoys music and has been a drummer and percussionist since he was 10 years old. He is an avid University of Michigan and Cleveland sports fan, but don’t hold that against him.
