Aleksey I. Mishulin, MD is a specialist in complex and refractive cataract surgery, LASIK surgery, and minimally invasive glaucoma procedures. He graduated from Wayne State University School of Medicine in 2015. He went on to finish a transitional medicine residency at William Beaumont Hospital, where he was chief resident and was awarded resident of the year, before completing his ophthalmology residency at Kresge Eye Institute in Detroit.
Dr. Mishulin is an Associate Professor at Wayne State University School of Medicine, where he teaches
ophthalmology residents and fellows about cataract surgery, advanced ophthalmic imaging, and the latest in lens formula technology. He participates in the IOPEN surgical mission in the Dominican Republic, in partnership with Institute for Latin American Concern (ILAC) and SEE International, restoring sight to patients who otherwise have minimal access to care.
