Samareh Azar, M.D. is currently a resident at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in Cincinnati, OH. She graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in Chemistry from Schreiner University in Kerrville, TX, and received her medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine in Lubbock, TX.
Dr. Azar’s interest in advancing technology and passion for individualized patient care drew her to refractive surgery. Every patient’s journey with refractive surgery is unique and she enjoys being there every step of the way. She plans on pursuing a refractive surgery fellowship after residency so she can return to her home state of Texas to help improve vision in all ages.
Outside of work, Dr. Azar enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with her husband.
