Adil Bhatti, MD, FRCSC, DABO

Adil Bhatti, MD, FRCSC, DABO is an assistant professor of medicine at the University of Ottawa, in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. He is the co-founder of iCare Surgical Centre, which is a private multi sub-specialty group practice. Dr. Bhatti specializes in Cataract surgery, Refractive Cataract Surgery, Refractive Lens Exchange and diseases of the retina. He has completed over 6000 intraocular surgeries.

Dr. Bhatti has made it his mission is to improve the quality of life of the people in his community by enhancing their vision. Dr. Bhatti loves what he does because he loves helping others.

Dr. Bhatti obtained his MD from the University of Toronto Medical School where he graduated with a number of awards and distinctions. He completed his Ophthalmology Residency training at the University of Ottawa, where he served as chief Resident and received the Resident Teaching Award. He completed his Medical Retina Fellowship at Queen’s University. Dr. Bhatti is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology as well as by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He is a member of the American Board of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, Canadian Retina Society, Canadian Ophthalmology Society and Ontario Medical Association.

When Dr. Bhatti isn’t practicing ophthalmology he spending his time with his wife and 2 young kids, travelling, spending time at his cottage and playing sports such as ice hockey and exercising in a local CrossFit gym.
