Ryan Cosgrove, DO, is a board-certified ophthalmologist who practices comprehensive ophthalmology in Bloomfield, Michigan. He has a passion for refractive surgery, including cataract surgery and laser vision correction. He prides himself on providing advanced care to give patients their best possible sight and improve their quality of life.
Dr. Cosgrove graduated magna cum laude from Albion College with a degree in biology, and he subsequently obtained his medical degree at Michigan State University. He then completed his ophthalmology residency through the Ascension Health-Michigan State University program. During this time he provided primary call coverage for several local hospitals, including a Level I trauma center in Detroit.
In his final year of residency training, Dr. Cosgrove was honored with the selection to serve as co-chief resident. He has a passion for education and has completed extensive research with other leading industry experts. He also takes great pride in being an advocate for medical missions and has personally supported missions providing medical care in Africa.
