Kevin Everett, MD is a native Detroiter by birth. He grew up in Bloomfield Hills before attending The University of Michigan for both his undergraduate and medical studies.
After completing his residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Cincinnati he returned to the Detroit area with his wife, Colleen. After a brief time in private practice, he joined the Henry Ford Medical Group s Dept of Ophthalmology in 1998. Since 1999 he has been the Detroit Lions ophthalmologist, and he recently added the Detroit Pistons to his professional sports team roster. He has performed refractive procedures on over 60 professional athletes.
Refractive surgery is his passion, including both Lasik/PRK as well as Laser Assisted Cataract surgery. As your surgeon, he will bring the absolute most cutting edge technology to allow him to deliver the most precise refractive surgery outcomes possible. Dr. Everett has lectured about refractive surgery across the country for many years, and as head of refractive services at Henry Ford, he loves teaching residents as well.
Dr. Everett currently resides in Birmingham, MI with Colleen and their four children.
