Neil Farbman, MD, JD is a cataract, refractive, and cornea surgeon at Kremer Eye Center in King of Prussia, PA, and Philadelphia, PA. He previously practiced law prior to a career change. In medicine, and in refractive surgery, in particular, Dr. Farbman has found a passion that was missing from his legal career. He greatly values the satisfaction of providing quick, safe, and excellent results to his refractive surgery patients.
As a refractive surgeon, Dr. Farbman prioritizes precision and attention to detail. There is no single cookie-cutter approach to refractive surgery, and Dr. Farbman values the process of matching the appropriate procedure and treatment plan to each individual patient’s specific needs and circumstances in order to get the best possible result. At Kremer Eye Center, he performs a large volume of femtosecond-assisted LASIK, PRK, Visian ICLs, and refractive lens exchanges. He is grateful to work for a high-volume practice with access to advanced technology, including wavefront-guided LASIK and PRK and advanced lens implant technology including light-adjustable lenses.
Dr. Farbman graduated from Harvard Law School cum laude and practiced law at a major Washington, DC law firm prior to attending and graduating from the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine. He then completed a residency at the University of Michigan’s Kellogg Eye Center and a fellowship in cornea and refractive surgery at the UC Davis Eye Center in Sacramento, CA. In addition to refractive surgery, Dr. Farbman also performs cataract surgery, complex anterior segment reconstruction (including scleral and iris-fixated intraocular lenses and iris repairs), and corneal surgery, including full-thickness and lamellar transplants and corneal cross-linking.
When not working, Dr. Farbman enjoys marathon running, improv comedy, and spending time with his goldendoodle Scooter.
