David Felsted D.O is a Cataract, Refractive, and Micro-invasive glaucoma Surgeon based in Northern Arizona. He serves a wide patient population and is passionate about excellent outcomes and the latest innovations in ophthalmic surgery and technology. Patients can expect a warm bedside manner and a thorough examination along with a detailed explanation of their planned procedure. Dr Felsted believes life ought to be enjoyed to its greatest depths and good vision is foundational to every adventure. Dr. Felsted graduated from the Marriott School of Management with a B.S. in Accounting (Ranked #2 by US News and World Report). He then went on to graduate medical school at Midwestern University/Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in Glendale, Arizona, where he was elected into Sigma Sigma Phi National Honors Fraternity in his first year of medical training.
Dr. Felsted completed a one-year transitional medicine residency at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, Washington, and an ophthalmic surgical residency at Augusta University Medical Center at the Medical College of Georgia. He served as a guest lecturer to both Medical and PA students on eye pathology and served as a chief resident in his final year. Throughout his training, Dr. Felsted has published articles on micro-invasive glaucoma devices, ophthalmic pathology, intraoperative surgical devices, and medical lifestyle.
Dr Felsted enjoys snowboarding steep powder along side his wife and four kids as well as mountain and road cycling. He enjoys simple conversations and a good laugh.
