Irfaan Hasrod, MBBCh FCOphth(SA) DipOphth(SA) MMed is a Board-Certified Ophthalmologist practicing in the beautiful South African city of Johannesburg. His drive is to improve vision and eradicate blindness.
Dr Hasrod has a keen interest in technology and gadgets, especially those which aid in the improvement of patients vision
Dr Hasrod completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBCh Witwatersrand) at the University of the Witwatersrand in 2009. During this time he was awarded membership into the Golden Key Honours Society. After completing his internship at the Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital and community service, he commenced his training as a specialist Ophthalmologist at the University of the Witwatersrand.
Dr Hasrod has completed multiple ophthalmology courses both locally and abroad.
