Braedon Murdock, MD is in his final year of ophthalmology residency at the George Washington University in Washington DC. He aspires to pursue further training after residency with a focus on refractive surgery and cataract surgery. He was born in Salt Lake City Utah and graduated from the University of Utah before attending medical school at the George Washington University in Washington DC.
During residency training he served as chief resident and discovered a passion for complex cataract surgery and refractive surgery. In his final year of training he was nominated to represent his residency program in the American Academy of Ophthalmology Advanced Cataract and Anterior Segment Skills training.
Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with his wife and four children hiking, traveling, and playing board games. He has an interest in medical innovation and entrepreneurship and hopes to continue to develop this with ophthalmic product development.
