Jay I. Novetsky, MD is a highly skilled refractive surgeon, has been part of the Vision Institute team since 1983. He has performed over 10,000 Laser Vision Corrections (Lasik and PRK) and over 10,000 cataract surgeries.
Dr. Novetsky received his Medical Degree from Wayne State University and completed his residency at George Washington University. He is Board Certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and a member of the American College of Eye Surgeons. Additionally, he is certified in cataract surgery by the American Board of Eye Surgery (ABES). Dr. Novetsky specializes in refractive cataract surgery, laser vision correction and glaucoma surgery. He serves as the Medical Director for our ambulatory surgery center, The Surgery Center of Michigan.
