Christian E. Song, MD

Christian E. Song, M.D. is a board-certified ophthalmologist serving as Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Mass Eye and Ear (a Harvard teaching hospital) in Boston, MA. He completed his medical training and residency at New York University School of Medicine and fellowship in cornea, cataract, and refractive surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College.

In his relentless pursuit of excellence, Dr. Song seeks to identify the best solutions for the refractive needs of his patients and strives the achieve the best outcomes possible. He provides a wide variety of surgical services including PRK, LASIK (wavefront-optimized and topography-guided), SMILE, and dysfunctional lens exchange. He takes careful consideration of each patient’s goals, expectations and examination results to tailor the most appropriate therapy. One of his greatest motivations and pleasures in life is using his skills and expertise to provide life-changing visual outcomes for his patients.

Outside of his practice, Dr. Song enjoys skiing, cycling, tennis, and spending time with his wife and young daughter (even if that includes hours of reenacting scenes from her favorite ballets).
